The challenge

Producing an original television series means managing several dimensions at once: creative content, production logistics, financing, the relationship with broadcasters and compliance with the standards of public funds. The challenge was to take a project of our own from idea to screen, in an audiovisual market with far more demand than available resources.

My role

Executive producer and project manager. Full ownership from development through to delivery and broadcast.

What I did

  • 01Project development: format, creative proposal and pitch materials for broadcasters and funds.
  • 02Application for and award of the CNTV Fund, one of the most competitive audiovisual funding schemes in Chile.
  • 03End-to-end production management: pre-production, shooting, post-production and delivery.
  • 04Leadership of the creative and technical team: direction, cinematography, sound, editing and field production.
  • 05Management of the production budget and development of commercial partnerships and sponsorships.

The result

The series was produced and aired. Winning the CNTV Fund validates the project before a body that assesses proposals nationwide. This stage is the foundation of the production and creative project management capabilities later deployed in retail and with international brands.

What this case shows

That I come from producing for real: budget, team, schedule, and a series delivered, broadcast and awarded.
