The opening text. What belongs here, what does not, and why a place like this exists on a marketing executive's website.
Not everything I think fits in a PowerPoint deck.
Nor in a results report. Nor in a well-built LinkedIn post, the kind that opens with an anecdote and closes with three numbered takeaways.

What belongs here
Stories that only happen to me. And I say only to me with some authority: I have a reasonably uncommon ability to get into situations I then cannot explain to anyone without them laughing.
Half-finished ideas. Questions with no answer. Observations left rattling around after a trip, a conversation, a book, or a particularly bad meeting.
Things about living in a country that is not your own. About learning a language as an adult, which is basically a daily exercise in humility. About what is inherited and what is not.
What does not belong here
Advice. Formulas. Lists of five things that will change your life.
Nor confessions. Personal is not the same as intimate, and that distinction matters to me.
Why it exists
Because I have spent years writing things that then go nowhere, and at some point I decided that archive deserved a door.
And because I think the people who work with me should be able to know how I think when nobody is evaluating me.
No format. No promise of regularity. With honesty.
